Bamberg County Board of Public Works - Heavy Equipment Operator (Full-Time)

Applications are being accepted in the Human Resources/Payroll Office - Bamberg County Courthouse ANNEX Isaiah Odom Building for the full-time Heavy Equipment Operator (Truck Driver) position with the Bamberg County Public Works Department. The applicants MUST have a valid driver's license. A Commercial Drivers License is preferred. Applications will be accepted until the position is filled. Upon hiring, the qualified candidate must demonstrate proficiency in operating various road construction and maintenance equipment, properly grading roads with a motor grader, pushing dirt, and clearing right-of-ways for pipes and ditches.  

 

DETENTION OFFICER (Full-Time/Part-Time)

Bamberg County Detention Center

Applications are being accepted in the Human Resources Office—Bamberg County Courthouse ANNEX Isaiah Odom Building for Detention Officers - Bamberg County Detention Center. Qualified applicants must possess a valid S.C. Driver's License, High School Diploma, No Criminal Record, and be at least 18 years of age. A medical examination is required for employment. DEPUTY SHERIFF (FULL-TIME)
Bamberg County Sheriff's Department

Bamberg County Sheriff is seeking a DEPUTY (full-time) for the Bamberg County Sheriff Department.  Qualified applicants must possess a valid S.C. Driver’s License, and a pre-medical examination is required for employment. Applications will be accepted until the position is filled.  The individual hired must be eligible to become certified by the S.C. Criminal Justice Academy.

 

DISPATCHER E-911 COMMUNICATION SPECIALIST (FULL-TIME)

Bamberg County Sheriff's Department
Applications are being accepted in the Human Resources Office, Bamberg County Courthouse Annex, for the Dispatcher (Full-Time) Bamberg County Sheriff’s Department position. Applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalency and be 21 or older with excellent computer skills. Possess good speech and hearing capabilities and a valid Driver’s License. Full-time Dispatchers will be required to work rotating shifts. The person hired will also be required to become certified by the S.C. Criminal Justice Academy in dispatching and using teletyping.
