Re:      Bamberg County Announces Official Holidays for 2024

Bamberg County Administrative Office (January 2024) – Bamberg County announces the official holiday schedules for 2024 as passed by Bamberg County Council in the FY 2023-2024 budget. We understand the importance of planning ahead, and we want to ensure that all our employees are well-informed about the schedule for the year.

Please take note of the following holiday closure dates:

• New Year’s Day – Monday, January 1, 2024
• Martin Luther King, Jr. Day (MLK Day) – Monday, January 15, 2024
• President’s Day – Monday, February 19, 2024
• Good Friday – Friday, March 29, 2024
• Memorial Day – Monday, May 27, 2024
• Juneteenth Day – Wednesday, June 19, 2024
• Independence Day – Thursday, July 4, 2024
• Labor Day – Monday, September 2, 2024
• Veterans Day – Monday, November 11, 2024
• Thanksgiving – Thursday, November 28 2024, and Friday, November 29, 2024
• Christmas – Tuesday, December 24 – Thursday, December 26, 2024

(The Christmas Holiday schedules are subject to change under an order by closure, Governor Henry McMaster, or any other directive to county government.)
